Eagles Wrap Up Indoor Season at Indoor Top Times and Fast Times invites

The JCP mens and women's track and field team wrapped up the best indoor season in school history in style with quality split squad results in Bloomington and Romeoville.  At the Indoor Top Times meet in Bloomington Julia Heller ran a school record 11:55.01 in the 3200m in the morning.  In the 3A section in the afternoon Jamison Dale won the 1600m in a very aggressive 4:17.34, blowing out the field by more than 3 seconds.  Luke O'Connor was 6th in the same race while Peter Schaible ran a 7 second pr in the 3200 running 9:38.  Over at the Fast Times invite at Lewis University the girls squad ran school record times in both the 4x400m and 4x800m relays (Bettine Foster, Daisy Mora, Julia Lovelace and Katie Gerhart).  Kevin Johnson ran a big personal best 1600m in 4:35 while Will Sarchet ran a 12 second pr in 4:42.  The all-freshmen 4x800m relay team ran a strong 9:14 unofficially.  Overall the Eagles set 10 school records on the season (Boys 55m, 600m, 800m, 1600m, 3200m, 4x400 relay and 4x800 relay; Girls 3200m, 4x400m relay, 4x800m relay).
